Pour mesurer la temp\u00e9rature de l&rsquo;eau, nous avons utilis\u00e9 un thermom\u00e8tre.<\/p>\n<p>Notre observation est la suivante : en chauffant l&rsquo;eau, elle bout et se transforme en gaz (vapeur d&rsquo;eau). M\u00eame en la chauffant longtemps, sa temp\u00e9rature <strong>ne d\u00e9passe pas<\/strong> les 100 degr\u00e9s !<\/p>\n<p>Nous avons plac\u00e9 une plaque en plexiglas au-dessus de la casserole et nous avons observ\u00e9 que des gouttes d&rsquo;eau se forment dessus. Il s&rsquo;agit de la <strong>condensation<\/strong> de la vapeur d&rsquo;eau. L&rsquo;eau gazeuse m\u00e9lang\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;air redevient liquide au contact de la surface.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 la fin de l&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience, toute l&rsquo;eau s&rsquo;\u00e9tait \u00e9vapor\u00e9e. Nous avons observ\u00e9 de la mati\u00e8re blanche au fond de la casserole. Il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;une roche, du <strong>calcaire<\/strong>, qui se trouve dans l&rsquo;eau.<\/p>\n<p>En faisant des recherches sur Internet, nous avons trouv\u00e9 que l&rsquo;eau ne bout pas toujours \u00e0 100 degr\u00e9s. C&rsquo;est une question d&rsquo;altitude (de pression de l&rsquo;air). \u00c0 4000m d&rsquo;altitude, l&rsquo;eau bout \u00e0 environ 85 degr\u00e9s ! Nous avons trouv\u00e9 \u00e9galement un moyen pour faire de l&rsquo;eau plus chaude que 100 degr\u00e9s : la marmite \u00e0 pression. Dans une marmite \u00e0 pression, la temp\u00e9rature de l&rsquo;eau peut aller jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 120 degr\u00e9s, car la pression est plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e.
